Carols I’m singing this Christmas

Christmas can be a time to reconnect with family and friends.

I’m all for nostalgia, but let’s not forget our friends in retail this year.

I present to you my interpretation of a commercial real estate Christmas.

Have a Holly Jolly, with a little Mall-y, Christmas

Have a holly, jolly, Christmas,
It’s the best time of the year.
I actually hope there won’t be snow,
As I head to a mall so near.

Have a holly, jolly Christmas.
And when you visit the food hall,
Say hello to vendors you know,
and try the Edo shrimp.

It’s the most wonderful time of the shopping year

It’s the most wonderful time of the year,
With Sally Ann’s jingles belling,
And everyone telling you “Hot deals here!”

It’s the most wonderful time of the year
With holiday greetings and new retail dealings,
No time for credit card fears!
It’s the hap-happiest season of the year!

Dashing through Stoon snow

In a many horsed Caddy sleigh,
O’er the lanes we go,
Dodging snow ruts on the way.

Tow trucks cell phones ring,
Emergency lights glow bright.
What fun it is to drive and swing
Into 8th St shoppers tonight.

Oh, jingle bells, driver yells,
Jingle all the way,
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In my many horsed Caddy sleigh.

Have yourself a merry Covid Christmas (again)

Have yourself a merry Covid Christmas
Though it still does not feel right,
From now on,
We carry on together despite.

Make the Yule-tide okay(?),
From now on your troubles on January delay.
So have yourself a merry little Covid Christmas night.
